This course is offered as a 2-year full-time business master’s programme. Sharing the first year of study with the 1-year MSc Cyber Security Management Online, the 2-year programme benefits from a second year of Professional Practice that is specifically aimed at fostering the employment opportunities of students.

Offering greater flexibility than a traditional Placement Year, our Professional Practice Year allows you to decide how to put your skills into practice. Calendar

 

Assessments are designed to meet the programme and module learning outcomes and are both formative and summative. The formative assessments include the preparation and feedback from seminars, workshops, tests and presentations. The summative assessments may include written assignments, projects and possibly exams.

You'll study for one year full-time or two years part-time, divided into three semesters of 13 weeks. Typically, full-time students will study four modules per semester and part-time students will study two modules per semester.

The delivery of modules will be asynchronous, meaning that you control the pace of your studies, working towards assignment submission dates that are fixed in your calendar.

Each module will also have a couple of optional sessions delivered online and in real-time for direct live communication with your lecturers.

You’ll have access to all learning materials through our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), including online library resources, module discussion forums and direct communication with your lecturers via email.
