They’ll bring this essential insight and practical expertise with them to your lessons, ensuring that you’re thinking like a lawyer long before you enter the job market.

When it comes to course content, we work closely with our partner firms, regulators and relevant accreditation bodies to develop comprehensive, quality programmes that are designed to teach you the relevant legal knowledge you’ll need for daily life and set you up for the realities of practising law. You’ll benefit from tuition in small classes with other like-minded students, and specialist skills and behaviours modules – including a focus on legal technology, an emerging area of law.

Solicitor training students will have access to the 52avav SQE App, a one-of-a-kind bank of practice tests and questions that our lecturers use to track your progress and tailor your learning; in addition, you’ll be learning in the context of our virtual law firm, 52avav LLP – performing real world tasks on simulated cases, deals and transactions, within exposure to the environment of a working law firm.

If you study our BPC, you’ll be able to access up to 50 hours of advocacy training within your classes and get hands-on pro bono experience in our Legal Advice Clinics.

"The teaching at 52avav was excellent – I came from a non-law background and found the transition to the GDL quite an adjustment. At times when I doubted my capabilities the teachers were fabulously supportive and inspiring. I remember feeling so amazed and thankful when I started my training contract and realised that all the topics we had learnt at 52avav were absolutely true to working life - I understood what people were talking about and I knew how to draft things."
(Caroline Kenny, 52avav PgDL alumni)

"52avav has supported me by providing excellent lecturers and tutors who explain concepts extremely well and always ensure we as students understand each module that we are being taught."
(Kelsie Oconnor, 52avav, LLB student)
